Baby Lasagna, Marko Purisic's musical project, was born out of songwriters’ need for artistic expression that will let him write and perform music without any strict genre limitations. With Baby Lasagna, Marko has finally found a niche within which he can combine incompatible genres and create new sounds that are both fresh and exciting.
The music was first presented publicly in late 2023. with singles "IG BOY" and "Don’t hate yourself, but don’t love yourself too much", and then absolutely exploded globally with "Rim Tim Tagi Dim" in the first half of 2024. The song won the Croatian ESC contest Dora in February and went on to place second at the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden in May, winning most public televotes by far from fans all over the globe. The song has now surpassed 35 million streams on Spotify and has spent some time at Top 40 official charts in territories such as the UK, Germany and Austria.
After a phenomenal ESC run, Baby Lasagna’s story took off super-fast, with signing a global record deal with Polydor / Universal Germany, selling out 3 stadium shows in Zagreb, Croatia in one day, and selling out numerous shows across Croatia, the Balkans and Europe.
