Newton Faulkner has never released the same album twice. Constantly adapting to a changing music landscape, he's moved from the phenomenal success of ‘Hand Built By Robots’ to the triumph of ‘Write It On Your Skin’; from the rapid creation of ‘Studio Zoo’ to the lush ‘Human Love’.
Releasing his Best Of compilation marked a turning point for Newton. “I wanted to do something slightly different, and used the Best Of as an opportunity to draw a line in the sand,” he explains. This fueled his creativity, leading to his 2021 project ‘Interference (Of Light)’, which featured a mix of previously unreleased tracks that reflected his diverse musical passions.
Since then, Newton has taken his longest break from the industry, allowing him to explore new environments and collaborate with fresh talents. This hiatus has rejuvenated his approach to music-making, pushing him to work with new people and incorporate more production elements into his work.
