The Wits comprises Seanpaul Fabiani on Vocals (18), Seán Green on Guitar and Backing Vocals (17), Gabriel McNelis on Guitar (18), Jude McNelis on Bass Guitar (16) and Adrian Woodside on Drums (18), who formed in August 2021. After a string of gigs throughout their native Inverclyde & beyond, the band released their debut single “Memory” in June of 2022. The release was followed by a series of sold out shows from Edinburgh to Glasgow which included a sold-out headline at the legendary King Tut's. Adding on to this with a few support slots with up and coming Scottish bands SLIX, The Big Day and Gallus. The band’s sound boasts influences ranging from Fontaines D.C. to Echo & the Bunnymen with the exuberant pop-rock maximalism of Declan McKenna thrown in for good measure. This style is conveyed in their most recent single “Perception” produced by Ryan Hunter of The Big Day and Chris Marshall - representing an ability to merge pop hooks with industrial noise and atmosphere. Following an appearance at the Isle of Wight Festival and The Garage, the band looks forward to future festival slots and a headline at King Tut's in January.
